Karie Glide is a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) and Registered Play Therapist (RPT) with over a decade of experience supporting children, adolescents, and families through life transitions and mental health challenges. She is certified in Child-Centered Play Therapy (CCPT) and TraumaPlay Therapy, and has advanced training in Adlerian Play Therapy and Trust-Based Relational Intervention (TBRI).

Throughout her career, Karie has specialized in working with children who struggle to express themselves through traditional talk therapy. By incorporating play—the natural language of children—into her therapeutic process, she helps clients process emotions, develop coping skills, and build resilience in developmentally appropriate ways.

Her prescriptive approach allows her to draw from multiple evidence-based modalities, adapting therapy to meet the unique needs of each child and family. She places equal importance on supporting parents, offering guidance and skill-building that extends the impact of therapy beyond the session.

Karie’s work is grounded in the belief that therapy should be accessible, collaborative, and focused on strengthening the connections that matter most.

A Note from Karie

Welcome—I’m so glad you’ve found your way here.

I know that seeking therapy for your child or family can feel like a big step. My goal is to make the process approachable, steady, and supportive. Children need a safe space where they can express themselves freely, and parents need to feel seen, heard, and guided as they walk alongside their child.

For me, therapy is creating connection, building resilience, and supporting families as they navigate challenges together. Please reach out to me, and we’ll discuss if therapy can benefit your family.
